Our Story.

DoorReach was forged in a successful 2025 mayoral campaign, built with a team that had spent a decade frustrated by the tools every other campaign was stuck with.

01 / The Spark

Built out of frustration.

Ahead of Andrew Knack's 2025 Edmonton mayoral run, the campaign's tech team and leadership did what every campaign should do: an environmental scan of the canvassing software market.

The verdict was bleak. We tested the top options with the same clunky interfaces from a decade ago, now charging premium prices. It didn't make sense to spend 5 figures on software that was painful to use, sold to people who didn't have time to argue.

So someone on the team asked the obvious question: what if we prototyped something instead?

That prototype kept evolving and improving, and became the app the campaign ran on all the way to election night.

02 / Battle-Tested

Run on a real campaign. Not a deck.

DoorReach replaced paper records entirely on the mayoral run for ground game canvassing. Volunteers used it on their own phones to surface issues and map support, turning every door into data the campaign could actually use.

Zero paper

Replaced the clipboard for an entire mayoral campaign. Every door, every conversation, every result.

03 / Why It's Affordable

A bet on better representation.

I want candidates and future representatives to better understand the people they serve. We all benefit when that happens, regardless of who wins on election night. Paper records are error-prone and waste volunteer hours. No records are worse.

And I don't think campaigns should need data experts or deep pockets to make data-driven decisions. The need for a large budget and insider access to data is the gap DoorReach is built to close, and it's why the price reflects the mission, not the market.

04 / What Makes It Different

Designed for the door, and for the people running the campaign.

touch_app

UX-first, end to end

Built around how campaigns actually prep, run, and decide, not around what was easiest to ship a decade ago.
